The Mesabi East Youth Hockey Association, a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization, is proud to be a 100% volunteer-run program—where every dollar contributed goes directly to supporting our players. The Mesabi East Youth Hockey Association takes pride in providing our area youth with the opportunity to participate in Minnesota’s most historic sport. Here, players learn the fundamentals of hockey as well as life-long lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, self-discipline, and physical fitness. Families enjoy quality time together, and the friendships formed on and off the ice often last a lifetime.

We’re excited to share that the Hoyt Lakes Arena received some great updates this summer in preparation for the upcoming hockey season! As part of these improvements, we will be ordering new dasher and sign boards for the 2025–2026 season.
