MEYHA Player Code of Conduct
Playing hockey with MEYHA is a privilege, and every player is expected to do their best to represent themselves, their team, and the association in a positive way.
As a MEYHA Player, I will:
- Respect Everyone – Be kind and respectful to teammates, coaches, referees, and opponents at all times.
- Play Fair – Follow the rules of the game and always give your best effort.
- Be a Good Teammate – Encourage others and celebrate their efforts and successes, whether we win or lose.
- Show Sportsmanship – Win with humility, lose with respect, and always keep a positive attitude.
- Take Care of Things – Respect the locker room, rink, and equipment. Clean up after yourself and help keep spaces safe and tidy for everyone.
- Stay Positive – No bullying, name-calling, or negative behavior, both on and off the ice.
- Listen to my coaches – Pay attention, follow instructions, and be open to learning. Coaches are here to help you improve and succeed.
- Be Responsible – Come prepared for practices and games, and let my coach know if you cannot attend.
Rember:
When I wear my jersey, I represent myself, my team, and MEYHA—on and off the ice. I will act in a way that reflects positively on my team and community.
Consequences:
I understand that poor sportsmanship, inappropriate behavior, or failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including game suspensions, reduced playing time, or removal from the team.
